Looking down the sill. I have cut away big flat sections of membrane and outer sill.
I prefer to use a spot weld drill to remove the spot welds. I first start it off with an 8mm HSS drill for about 20 seconds then finish it with the spot weld drill for about 10 seconds. Finally use a cold chisel to separate the metal panels.
Most of the tools I use
Behind dogleg: This was hard. The membrane, inner sill and outer sill were welded along their top edge and tucked behind the inner side panel. This was hard. Used chisel and air powered hack saw to separate them Had to bend up the inner panel to get access. Looks messy but it'll be OK when flattened and welded.
Had to drill out all of these spot welds on front kick panel. Spot welds behind the A post had to be drilled out from inside the car.
Remnants of inner sill and membrane
